Fish handling workshop “From catch to meal”

A local shore fisherman introduces traditional fishing methods and equipment, tells about the types of fish in the area, as well as when and how they are caught.

We teach how to handle fresh fish – gutting, filleting, salting. Together we prepare delicious fish dishes from the catch. In the classroom, we use fresh, local, seasonal fish and prepare meals according to the raw materials.

We want to value local resources, pass on traditional skills and thereby introduce local culture. We teach you to get to know local fish better, to prepare it yourself and to appreciate it with dignity.

Lessons take place outside the fisherman’s home on prior arrangement.
