The Rebastemäe nature trail is located on the Kõpu peninsula, the oldest area of both Hiiumaa and Western Estonia, where 8000 years ago there was just a one-square-kilometer island in the middle of the open sea.
The trail sends hikers through a variety of forest types, here you can observe how light and moisture conditions on the dunes have influenced the formation of these forests. The trail features several stairways and two viewing platforms that offer beautiful views.
The circular trail is 1.5 km long, the trail is marked and equipped with informational boards. It takes approximately 1 hour to complete and it is passable with dry feet.
