For medical assistance, go to the emergency department of\u00a0Hiiumaa Hospital<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(Rahu tn. 2 K\u00e4rdla). Information about the hospital and family doctors can be found on the website of\u00a0Hiiumaa municipality.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hiiumaa offers good opportunities for separate collection of waste for both residents and visitors.<\/p>\n

There is a waste collection point in every region of Hiiumaa where you can take your waste free of charge:<\/p>\n

packaging<\/strong>\u00a0– clean plastic, metal and paper packaging, as well as cardboard, paper and glass packaging and\u00a0waste paper<\/strong>\u00a0in separate containers,<\/p>\n

unusable textiles<\/strong>,\u00a0pre-packaged household<\/strong>\u00a0waste that is left over from sorting and cannot be disposed of elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Visitors will also be able to dispose of waste at their own accommodation, in RMK’s recreation areas and at tourist sites.<\/p>\n

In Hiiumaa, there is only one bank in K\u00e4rdla – Swedbank – and it is located in K\u00e4rdla’s central square. ATMs are located in K\u00e4rdla’s central square and Selver. Also in K\u00e4ina, K\u00f5rgessaaare, Emmastes.<\/p>\n

On the territory of the K\u00e4rdla harbour<\/a>, there is a caravan park<\/a> with modern equipment on the beautiful seashore, which is suitable for even the most demanding travelers. The visitor can enjoy the nice harbor life, visit restaurants or relax and grill in the recreation area. There are washing facilities in the harbor building, and a private sauna can be booked if desired. The motorhome rest area can also be found at Orjaku harbor<\/a> and S\u00f5ru harbor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the ports, P\u00f5hja-Tooma holiday homes<\/a>, Randm\u00e4e holiday farm<\/a> and Ratturi farm<\/a> also offer a parking area for motorhomes with a rest area.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tTourist information points<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n

Hiiumaa’s main tourist information point is located in K\u00e4rdla’s central square and is open from June to August Tue-Sat 10:00-16:30.<\/p>\n

In addition, tourist information can be obtained from the Windtower Experience Centre and from the ports of Orjaku and K\u00e4rdla. On weekdays, you can also call the tourist information number: +372 5045393 from 10:00 to 16:30.<\/p>\n
